Strike Industries SI G4 SlideComp is a slide mounted compensator for Glock Gen4 pistols requiring no permanent modification to the host platform, and eliminating the need for a threaded barrel, while it can be used in conjunction with threaded barrels. It is precision CNC-machined and has a blended, no snag profile. The profile of the compensator aligns with the slide for open-bottomed holster compatibility, while the internal geometry and ports work to reduce muzzle rise and perceived recoil. For one handed manipulations, the compensator can be used to push-rack the slide against hard surfaces, to clear malfunctions or lock the slide back for a reload.
NOTE: The SlideComp is not compatible with Gen 1-3 or Gen 5 Glocks. Due to differences in slide dimensions and design, Gen 3 slides cannot be modified to accommodate SI's G4 SlideComp. Aftermarket recoil spring assemblies can be used as long as they are Gen 3 and correspond to the firearm's model number. (Ex. Gen 3 G17 recoil spring assembly with G17 handgun).
This stnadard model is compatible with Gen4 G17. The package includes: G4 SlideComp, Installation set screws (4 side), M4 installation set screws (2 bottom), 2mm Allen wrench, and Glock Gen 3 full size guide rod assembly.

Warning: Improper installation or alignment of the compensator with the handgun will result in damage to the firearm. Please call Product Support if the user notices improper alignment or is unsure of installation procedures.
Note: Minor hand-fitment of the compensator may be required. Please contact productsupport@strikeindustries.com if the compensator exhibits slight or aggressive misalignment when mounted. Alignment rod bushing should sit completely flush at the rear of the slide's RSA passthrough.
Note: Application of threadlocker (Loctite or Rocksett) to the set screws before installation is highly recommended. Not compatible with Gen 1-3 Glocks due to differences in slide dimensions and design. Gen 3 slides cannot be modified to accommodate SI's G4 SlideComps. Aftermarket recoil spring assemblies can be used as long as they are Gen 3 versions and correspond to the firearm's model number. (Ex. Gen 3 G17 recoil spring assembly with G17 handgun, or Gen 3 G19 recoil spring assembly in G19 handgun).
Note: Normal fouling on the face of the slide due to the G4 Slide Compensator's effects is to be expected.
Note: Improperly securing the compensator may cause damage to the slide. When installing, ensure the compensator flush and fitted firmly against the slide.
